Nice to see some familiar names. Proud to have served on this fine boat.... Four knots to nowhere! Stay in touch.

Hi again, I served on Carver from the new construction in 65 to 68 when I left the Navy. I did three patrols with the Gold Crew with changes in Rota Spain. Now the year is Mar 2014 and I've just been diagnosed with asbestos lung disease. Never touched the stuff except for the new construction when the boat was built. I lost a wife to this 20 years ago, but thought I had escaped it. I wonder if other former crewmembers have made this same grim discovery?

Hi to all. Just heard about J.J. and may he rest in peace. I played a lot of cards against him and Hog Body, Herb Shorter, Herb Desmond, oh and the list goes on. I saw Capt. O'Beirne a few years ago, nice to talk to him and his wife.
Tony "Greek" Saris, if you read this get a hold of me.
Fair Winds and Calm Sea's to all. (72-74 Gold)

MLPO 84-88. Great crew with a fantastic skipper, CDR Mushen. I remember all the Nuclear Goats coming straight from Prototype tours when the boat left the overhaul period in '85. Great times.
